First Watch is located down South College Avenue, making the drive farther but the wait time shorter from the busy downtown spots. Emily Kubilus, a CSU student says, “It feels like home, I’ve even cried in the middle of it.” Her go to order is the Elevated Egg Sandwich, which she says, “is the perfect combination of flavors.” Their rustic farmhouse atmosphere creates a space for anyone to enjoy.

Silver Grill Cafe — Local Classic

Silver Grill Cafe has a long, rich history in Fort Collins, being the oldest restaurant in Northern Colorado dating back to 1933. Their most notable feature is their famous cinnamon rolls, which is even offered as french toast and truly delicious. If you have a sweet tooth, this is a must have on your weekend.

Cafe Bluebird — Cozy Wonderland

Cafe Bluebird is located off of Laurel, right across the street from several CSU dorms. Providing a great, cozy location coupled with delicious food. There is no better place after a long Friday night out than Cafe Bluebird. The perfect remedy for a killer hangover. And their peach bourbon hot sauce, yum.

Lucile’s Creole Cafe — Mardi Gras meets Grandma’s house

Lucile’s is tucked away on the North side of CSU’s campus making this stop its own oasis. Abby Haneke, Senior at CSU says, “The beignets are a staple for Lucile’s since their food is home style New Orleans. They do a good job of making a chain restaurant feel very homey and a comfortable atmosphere.” Thats is, that’s all that needs to be said.

Snooze, an A.M. Eatery — Classic Breakfast with a Twist

Lindsay Mullen, a college student and avid breakfast eater says, “Snooze has a plethora of AMAZING pancakes but if I had to pick my favorite it would be the sweet potato. I love it because I love potatoes and pancakes and it has the perfect amount of sweetness. It is so worth it because the food is not like anywhere else and I can count on it tasting the same every time and I’m never disappointed.” Essentially, a pancake haven.
